Question of the Day: Rape? Gay? Mangina?

WARNING: If you are offended by any of the following terms, are homophobic, or just close minded, please stop reading this topic right now.

With that being said, recently BRK, a fellow blogger whom I respect, has joined a guild called 'Sap Girls Can't Say No'. What is my personal impression? It makes me giggle a bit, maybe I'm immature, maybe I don't know somebody who was raped IRL, maybe I think it's a clever usage of words. The fact of the matter however is, that people are going to get offended and it will reflect poorly upon him as a professional (he writes for WoWInsider.)

So, I ask this to you all, for the hot topic debate of the century, do you find the words 'rape', 'gay' , and 'mangina' offensive when used as a slang term outside of the realm of 'Sexual Assault' and 'Homosexual'.

Examples:
"That Son of Arugal totally raped me."

"The Shade of Aran fight is so gay."

My personal opinion is that It REALLY doesn't bother me and I think people over react. Also, I'm bi-sexual so when people say "omg, that's exactly what a straight white male would say." I can only laugh a little bit, maybe I'm being disrespectful of the 'gay community' or whatever, but I really think that people go overboard way too much about getting offended. My personal stance is that words can evolve, and just because we associate 'gay' with homosexual doesn't mean we can't associate it with something else years down the road, the same goes with 'rape', primarily it sticks out as a big 'sexual assault', but it can also mean to pillage/plunder/humiliate/etc. a long the lines of "Raping the countryside." which in terms you could "Rape a Son of Arugal." by utterly decimating him and pillaging his loots.

So, in short, do these words offend you? What about words like mangina and my newly coined female version? If so, how do you react to them within the in-game world, do you ignore the person, rip them a new one, or what?

AFK

I will be gone this weekend so, my next major update will either be before I leave tomorrow or on Monday. I'm going to a BBQ to meet up with a ton of my guildies and to chat it up about WoW, etc. It's going to be a blast, and the first time I'm ever meeting any of them IRL. I may or may not post pictures, I'm not real good about developing pictures. :O

Popularity Contest - June '07

So... these are my hits for the month of June and who is responsible. Huge shout out to BRK, BoK, Ardent Defender, and JoW! Kudos to CGFs, WoW Forums, and Google Search! At a later point in time when I'm not swamped with work at work (Crazy I know! I actually have to do stuff!) I'll make a post covering all the links in my blog roll and what they're about.

What are they searching to find me? Funny enough, my two major posts, so I'd like to thank those of you who asked me questions for me to ramble on about, Gamer Mommy & Ruprecht! Thanks guys! One time I was found via Google search because somebody looked up 'Bloody Seals', honest truth.

Bonus Fact: The most commented topic on the blog is the previous entry about Manginas.
Go figure.

Let's Talk about Sex baaaaby: Mangina

In another series of short articles, since I am one of the few, the maybe proud, the 'Manginas' (Yes, just like Vagina but with a Man instead of a Vag.) I'm one of those people who play a female toon and am a male IRL. Why? I'm on a roleplaying server, so I like to RP as different sexes and personalities. I was also drawn to the whole Female Blood Elf in Judgement Armor that Blizzard kept showing off everywhere all the dang time (like the one on the loading screen for example.)

Anyhow, I ask this question today, well, two actually:

- How many of you play characters of the opposite sex and why?

- What is the term for a female who plays as a male?

My answer for #2 has been decided upon as "Womisticle"/"Womasticle", however I have heard "Fenis"/"Wonis"/"Wenis".

Photoshop Skills & Attunement

To my left you can see this wonderful example of this new and updated attunement listing for BC. In short, bye bye SSC & The Eye Attunements. I really don't have much else to say on this topic except for the fact that I'm EXTREMELY excited for the casual playerbase as it seems raiding and those big end-game lore guys like Kael'thas, Vashj, Illidan, etc. are MUCH more accessible for them even if they have a 'remotely' casual game. I also rejoice for Retribution Paladins and other folks who don't have to jump through the heroic hoops or respec in order to get in a heroic to complete a Trial quest. I'm glad Blizzard is making this game 'easier', my suspicion is that they want everyone to be close to completing all the content or at least half of the content before they launch their next expansion.

Does this change have any effect upon you as a player or your guild? I know personally that our guild may be getting back some people who dropped out of the game simply because they viewed the attunement process as some sort of sick hoop-jumping created by Blizzard in order to squeeze more money out of you and make the gamer 'longer'. Hopefully they weren't just using that as a canned excuse not to play and now they'll actually be returning!

What is a Shockadin?

"I’ve seen Shockadin mentioned on your blog several times but I’m still not sure what it is and how it works. Could you maybe post some video and describe how one would gear for it and how to use it properly both for damage and for healing?

BIG THANKS,

Ruprecht – Skywall"

Well Ruprecht, it's something that I personally haven't dabbled in myself, or perhaps I have dabbled and haven't even realized it. Simply put, a Shockadin is built around Holy DMG and Spell Damage/Healing Gear and a lot of +crit. In my last post I touched upon the topic briefly and linked this cookie cutter build. I will try to break it down as basic as possible going over each talent and what I personally think it means to the build:

Holy

Divine Intellect - The more INT, the more Crit, and later on in the build the more SD/Healing you'll have.

Spiritual Focus - Doesn't hurt to be able to have guaranteed heals (With Concentration Aura) if a million mobs are beating on you, does it?

Imp. Seal of Righteousness - More Holy Damage is a good thing for this build, as that is what it's built around.

Illumination - You need this to get Divine Favor and nothing beats having extra mana to toss around, and it makes you a decent healer for 5-mans.

Divine Favor - Crits = Good, not much to explain here, a guaranteed half-cost crit spell is pretty sweet.

Sanctified Light - Not really much else to put this in, it helps out your healing a bit and can't hurt much, if you'd rather get Imp. Lay on Hands or something though, go for it.

Purifying Power - I personally like this one I have 2/2 in it, the crits on Holy Wrath are fun to watch in those AoE mobs in The Crypts & Blood Furnace or those ghost packs in Karazhan before Moroes. The lesser cost on Consecration helps out with mana too if you feel the need to AoE down mobs, and once again, crit (even against demons/undead) is always a good thing.

Holy Power - Crit = Good, once again not much to explain, this gets you crit on Holy Shocks, Healing Spells, Exorcisms, etc.

Light's Grace - This will help you be a good healer and launch out half second quicker holy light spells, it's more or less ideal for raid situations I would assume, or even some quick healing on tanks in Heroics where you just need to spam Holy Light, honestly though if healing isn't your thing, go for Blessed Life.

Holy Guidance - This is where it comes together for you, all that INT you've got is now being put into raw DPS & Healing, and you'll definitely notice the difference (35 SD/H per 100 INT you have, dressed in epics, is easily 100-200 more SD/H)

Retribution

Benediction - The less mana you have to spend means the more DPS you can put out. Can't argue with it.

Imp. Judgement - Most of your DPS is coming from your Judgements, the quicker you can do them, the more DPS you can do.

Imp. Seal of the Crusader - More bang for your buck, you'll always be judging Crusader and then unleashing Holy Shocks & Righteousness Judgements, so this can only be helpful.

Conviction - This is more of a "Why the hell not?" talent, I don't see any reason not to get it, you need 5 points to move on up in the world, and when you crit with melee strikes it'll cause your Righteousness Judgement to hurt more.

Eye for an Eye - It's a PvP talent and semi-PvE talent, If you'd rather have Vindication or something else, go for it. It's entirely up to you with this.

Crusade - Extra Damage is good Damage, can't argue with that.

Sanctity Aura - Kiss your other Auras goodbye, this is what you're after. 10% more damage on those Holy attacks, coupled with that 15% from Crusader, hey, that's a whole 25% extra (probably more or less depending on the mathematics of how these work, I'm not much of a math guy) holy damage you're pushing out.

Wrapping it up

So what does this all mean? What do you do? Honestly, I've never seen a Shockadin before, but I may actually BE a Shockadin (minus the talents). The way I play the solo game as my Holy Paladin is to pretty much unleash all my Judgements & Holy Shocks whenever I get the chance. I pop my +crit trinkets (The one from the Hellfire Citadel quest chain and the one from being revered with the Sha'tar), and let loose. I spam consecration when I'm in large groups (I also blow my Divine Illumination during that though, which you don't have as a Shockadin), and I just unleash.

The basic concept is:

Seal/Judgement of Crusader, Seal/Judgement Righteousness, Holy Shock, Exorcisms (on undead/demons), & Consecration in AoE packs. Heal as necessary, wash and repeat until mob/mobs are dead, make sure to refresh Crusader if it wears off.

What kind of gear do you need for this? I'll link you here to the Set Look Alikes page and check it out the look alike for Earthfury. I know, I know, you're completely offended at me saying to wear Mail, but it's built for elemental shaman who also focus on spell damage/crits, and so it kind of works out well in my opinion. However, I'm sure there are alternatives, look for gear with a high amount of crit and SD/H on it and I think you'll be fine.

Remember, I'm not a super expert, you can always learn more by inquiring on the hells known as the public forums (sometimes there is good information to be found if you ignore the QQ topics). Also, if any of you readers know something I don't, please feel free to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about and correct me.

lrn2play: Paladin Leveling Builds

This post is being dedicated to Gamer Mommy, who asks

"So I started an alt because I have a problem. My blood elf pally is coming up in the ranks. Mind sharing a good leveling talent tree spec with me?"

Hey, it's like I'm BRK now! Neat! Ahem... so, here we go.

Well ma, there are a lot of different specs you could try out, you would think that there was a single spec that excelled at leveling, and I suppose there is, but I'd like to give you a grinding spec based around each talent tree, that way you'll have more choices, and be able to learn how to play your class according to your chosen spec while you're leveling, because really, each talent tree for a paladin is like playing an entirely new class (much like a druid or shaman and their trees.) Here we go:

OOMadin

First up we have the Holy Tree, now a lot of people say "Hey! Holy is for healing, not for soloing." and for the most part I would say you're right, but with the right gear you can quickly become something I've coined the "OOMadin", you spend a lot of time drinking and spamming all your spell abilities, but it gets the job done, and did spectacular for more while leveling in Hellfire Peninsula later on.

The basic idea is to blow your various abilities and unleash some holy damage, spam that consecration if you have multiple enemies, and just keep on trucking with bubbles & crit heals from divine favor when you need to. If you're going OOM and struggling to get by, pop the 41 pt talent and keep on going. It's VERY hard to die with this build unless you get jumped while you're low on mana. This build will also allow you to be a relatively effective healer if you feel the need to do instances and such on your way to the top. Obviously you'll want to respec to be more healing effective if you plan on sticking with Holy. Also, feel free to swap out Redoubt with Devotion Aura if you enjoy two-handers over shields, Imp. Devotion Aura is actually surprisingly effective pre-outland, then it goes down hill.

Shockadin

This is the same basic idea as above, except you focus more on burst damage than healing, it's great for a PvP build, but it really isn't cut out for leveling, as it doesn't really entirely come together until 70, but I think it's fairly self explanatory, it's just a different method of the above option, allowing you to judgment more, etc.

Tankadin

Okay, you can basically do WHATEVER you want and live with the right gear. Always carry a shield around with you, keep righteous fury up, do whatever you need to do. You've got spiritual focus to heal yourself without interruption (unless they shield slam or kick) while you AoE farm and basically kill things by STANDING THERE. That's right, the mobs will slowly kill themselves just by attacking you. Holy Shield is your Thorns, Retribution Aura as well, and let's not forget Reckoning, you're just sitting there, sipping your iced tea, watching the sunset as millions of murlocs fall as they end up breaking their flimsy little hands on your plate armor. Fall back on bubbles or run or whatever if you really need to. But as far as I've been told, you're unstoppable. You can even solo out of instance elites that are a level or 2 above your current one, it'll be a long process, but you can do it.

Retribution

Just how BRK has the dreaded 'marksman' spec that everyone uses, this is that dreaded retribution spec that paladins use. I still have no experience with the retribution tree, but I respect it and admire the players who can make the tree work well. It's a VERY gear dependant tree, but it's the 'solo' tree as admitted by Kalgan, one of the lead game developers for WoW, and enemy to all paladins apparently. This one is more of a PvE raiding spec, but it's practically the same for solo.

You have a few options and choices you can make, if you enjoy 2-handers, take Imp. Devotion Aura (In fact, 2-handers are the way to go, and you'll probably be using devotion aura early on until you get Sanctity Aura, so go with that early on and make the switch to redoubt if you stick with retribution in the long run.) Also, if you'd like drop Precision and aim for Vindication since it works fairly well on the trash you'll be leveling up on, but it really seems to be more of a PvP talent. Here's a quick explaination on the balancing act of retribution stats and then I'll send you on your way.

Strength/AP -> Crit Rating/Agility -> Hit Rating -> Everything Else

Make sure you don't eliminate yourself from INT gear though in Azeroth, as INT Plate is very hard to find outside of the blood elf starting zones, wear shaman mail if you really need to or if you're very low on INT, but for the most part, just make sure you try to balance things out instead of focusing strictly on a stat or two. You are, more or less, a warrior with healing.

Remember everyone, I am in no means an expert on these things, if anybody else would like to provide comments or ideas or simply say that I don't know what the heck I'm talking about, feel free to do so. I hope these build ideas will give you a basic understanding of each spec, and some of the builds you can use to level/solo to 70.

Karazhan Stuff

So, my guild just crushed Illhoof, Nightbane, and the Prince, hoorah! We were totally on a roll, but then Netherspite put us in our place... hopefully they fix the bug with his breath (he does 2000 more damage than he is supposed to apparently) so he will be a bit easier. So, what did I get from this week's Karazhan run?

::rummages in pockets::

Umm... err... uhh...

THIS HANDY DANDY Lightning Capacitator!

The Mage & Warlock both didn't want it, and so it was me and a Shaman rolling on it, both of us healers, he rolled an 83, and I pulled out a 93. Our leader who was on his Paladin (He used to be a Mage) was crying on the inside, but handed it over to me reluctantly. I'll probably be one of the few Paladins out there with the opportunity to try out this nifty gadget (The circumstances of getting your hands on one over a spell crit heavy class are slim obviously), and I'll report my findings. Maybe this will help my grinding go semi-quicker with judgments, holy shocks, exorcisms, and Holy Wraths, who knows.

The Retribution Gear Hunt

Well, currently I'm going into Retribution... or at least plan to by the end of the month. I've got some gear to collect, and it's going to be hard getting it without being Holy (especially in Heroics). I made use of WoW Forums Retribution Guide and Kaliban's Loot List both which were extremely helpful in deciding upon gear, and finding easy upgrades.

This is my current gear setup with items I can get easily from questing and what I already have in my inventory:

Weapon: Endbringer

Libram: Libram of Zeal

Helm: None (I'll probably spend spirit shards on Exorcist's Scaled Helm OR get X-52 Technician's Helm)

Chest: None (I'll probably get Leonine Breastplate)

Shoulders: None (I'll probably get Eagle Crested Pauldrons)

Hands: None (I'll probably and get The Hands of Fate)

Belt: Girdle of Gallantry

Legs: Ornate Leggings of the Venerated

Boots: Ornate Boots of the Sanctified

Wrist: Bracers of Just Rewards

Back: Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings

Neck: None (I'll be aiming for Insignia of the Mag'hari Hero)

Rings: Aggressor's Mark of the Sha'tar & Spellsword's Mark of the Redemption

Trinkets: Fettish of the Fallen & None (For now I'll get Core of Ar'Kelos)

In Defense of Retribution Paladins

Note: This was stolen from Thrommel on the Paladin forums. I figured I would repost it here, because it seems like valuable information. Currently, I am on a quest to better understand the Retribution spec and perhaps even temporarily (permanently if I like it enough) change specs if my guild can find a healing replacement.

Retribution Paladins have, of late, come under frequent attack in these and other class forums for their supposed lack of usefulness in a raid or party setting relative to other single purpose classes or other talent tree options. This type of thinking is not only poorly conceived but illustrates a larger problem of evaluating the contribution of hybrid/support classes.

Support classes exist to not maximize their personal performance but to maximize the performance of the group they are supporting. Typical tools used to measure effectiveness such as Damage & Healing meters do not directly take this into account because the benefits the Retribution paladin provides are not attributed to the paladin but to the group members he supports. To understand this better let us take a look at how a Retribution paladin stacks up in the core categories of damage, healing, and survivability.

Damage Output

If you consider total damage output versus personal damage output then you will realize that a Retribution paladin is one of the highest DPS classes in the game. Consider:

Sanctified Crusader

This Retribution talent increases the critical strike chance of ALL ATTACKS made against a target by 3%. This additional DPS is huge, effects everyone in the raid (not just party), effects ALL types of damage (not just spell or physical), and scales with group size: Assuming a portion of each group is made up of non attacking healers on a boss fight:

5 man: 3% increased crit for FOUR PEOPLE
25 man: 3% increased crit for 20 PEOPLE
40 man: 3% increased crit for 30 PEOPLE

This damage boost comes on top of the DPS boost every paladin provides, namely Blessing of Might and Retribution Aura, both of which scale with group size:

Blessing of Might (untalented)

5 Man Instance: 3 melee attackers ave. = 47.1 DPS extra
25 man Raid: 10 melee attackers ave. = 157 DPS extra
40 man Raid: 20 Melee attackers ave = 314 DPS extra

Retribution Aura (untalented)

Assuming a 2 second mob swing speed:

1 Mob Being Tanked (Boss): 13 DPS (unmitigated)
2 Mobs Being Tanked: 26 DPS (unmitigated)
3 mobs Being Tanked: 39 DPS (unmitigated)

From a damage perspective, the question is not why bring a Retribution paladin but why bring a rogue...

Healing

With the exception of boss fights, most dedicated healers (druids, priests, holy paladins) spend the majority of their time doing nothing but waiting to heal for lack of need, fear of pulling aggro, or as a result of wishing to conserve precious mana. In short their lives can be described, to paraphrase a saying, as " Hours of boredom and seconds of screaming terror" and are providing no DPS or healing outside of these times.

A Retribution paladin is able to consistently add their damage to every fight (thus shortening the encounter) while still being able to greatly add to the group's healing. Consider:

Judgement of Light

Judgement of Light is a nearly mana free Heal over Time that scales with the number of melee attackers and is most directed at those high DPS raid members who rarely get them, namely rogues and fury warriors (who are usually told to bandage or crawl off somewhere and die). This form of healing is significant, allows your groups DPS to be sustained longer, and is not attributed to the Retribution paladin (whose strikes must keep it up) on healing meters. Assuming a 2.0 swing speed (high for most rogues/fury warriors/pets) and a 40% proc rate for the judgement, at max rank this judgement provides:

5 Man Instance: 3 melee attackers ave. = 36 HPS
25 man Raid: 10 melee attackers ave. = 120 HPS
40 man Raid: 20 Melee attackers ave = 240 HPS

If properly accounted for, I can guarantee you, that I would be near the top of any healing meter with this small spell alone. Add in my DPS, as well as the additional DPS of those melee attackers who lived just a few seconds more and you can see this is non trivial.

Improved Sanctity Aura

Improved Sanctity Aura boosts healing to effected targets by 6%. This coupled with Healing Light in Holy turns a Retribution paladin into a respectable healer, especially with some spell damage gear. In fact it is the equivalent of 205 spell damage gear considering the spell coefficient on a max rank Holy Light. More importantly it boosts the healing power of your main healer (priest/druid) who may be grouped with you to support a main tank. This talent not only scales with the number of healers but spell damage gear as well.

Survivability

Group

Paladin resistance auras, while not game breaking, are a significant source of mitigation in those encounters where it is critical (e.g. Ragnaros). From posted sources, 60 Resist was overall the equivalent of about 15% mitigation to spell damage. Since this means the rogues and warriors in my melee group last on average 15% longer during these fights you can see the DPS boost that this provides.

Personal

While DPS classes do it faster, few can maintain it longer than a paladin. A Retribution paladin, while not as hearty as his Holy and Protection bretheren is a warrior that needs no maintenance. High resists and plate ensure he is in the fight longer than any other melee combatant and he can allways self heal or bubble if need be to keep fighting long after his fellows have fallen. And all with no baby sitting from the healers who can focus their mana on the main tank.

The question is not why bring a paladin but why bring a non tanking warrior or rogue...

The purpose of the post was not to claim that the paladin or even the Retribution spec are "The Best" but merely to point out that the arguments typically being made are specious, myopic, and rest on well chosen examples that do not take into account all the things that a hybrid class is doing for the rest of the groups it is supporting.

/end rant

Paladin Tanking Joke

Disclaimer: In no way am I suggesting that Paladins can't tank. I just found the joke funny.

Joke (Edited for Comedic Effect):

So a warlock walks into a bar and sits down. He orders a glass of beer and starts relaxing, when all of a sudden, a paladin walks in and sits next to him. He turns to look at the warlock and says: 'Hey buddy, conjure me up something to drink,'

The warlock raises an eyebrow and looks to the paladin, clearly confused. He set his bottle down and spoke, slowly, and clearly, so as not to confuse the paladin.

'You want me to summon water? Buddy, you've got the wrong person...'

With that said, he returned to his drink. However, the paladin spoke up once again.

'Well if you can't conjure me up something to drink, can you at least conjure me up something to eat?'

The warlock sighed heavily and set his drink down, turning once again to face the paladin.

'If I can't conjure you something to drink, what makes you think I could conjure you something to eat? You clearly need a mage, now stop bothering me.'

The warlock returned to his drink, only to find the paladin nudging his shoulder.

'Oh I'm sorry,' the paladin said mockingly. 'I thought you had something to offer to someone other than yourself.'

The warlock smoothly rose from his seat, grabbed his bottle of beer, and swung it hard, smashing the paladin full in the face. The paladin collapsed on the floor amidst a shower of beer, blood, shards of glass, and shattered pride, groaning in pain. The warlock tossed the broken neck of the bottle on the floor, and smoothed his robes.

'Oh I'm sorry,' he said with a smile. 'I thought you could tank.'

The Girlfriend Chronicles: Introduction

I was over on WoWInsider and read an article about getting your female significant other to play WoW. I've decided to document the steps and progress I'm making in converting her to the unholy cult of MMO addicts. At best, I'd like to enjoy playing the game with her, however, I'm not being nefarious enough to make her roll a healing class to be my personal healbot, so I can spec Retribution, haha. However, females do tend to enjoy healing classes... perhaps it's that 'nurturing/motherly' part of their brain that reinforces this? Hmm... separate topic for another time I suppose.

Here's a brief outline of the steps I have so far taken and other additional information:
  • The girlfriend indeed thinks that WoW is a stupid game, however, she completely understands why I play it (in fact she encourages me to get my money's worth).
  • She hangs out with my WoW friends IRL (People I met via my server), there is a monthly or bi-monthly get together at Dave & Busters, and she tags along and has fun.
  • She is a huge fan of RPGs, in fact, I've been watching/helping her out with Suikoden 1 - 3 as of late. On a side-note, her favorite RPG is Final Fantasy 6.
  • I've had 'the talk', where I explained to her how much I'd love it if she'd play WoW, and how much it would mean to me, etc. etc. (I meant this in all seriousness as well).
  • The deal was, after getting her an account (I bought an old account off someone for like 10 bucks at my College a year or so ago), that she needed a PC to play. Well, I recently just got her said PC, and it's capable of playing WoW, despite her crappy wireless internet connection.
  • We watched the Burning Crusade collector's edition DVD, and she expressed interest in being a Blood Elf (She doesn't have the xPac yet, I'd prefer if she got hooked first then got it).
  • I play on a roleplaying server, and she played D&D as a kid, I can only hope that this will be a nice hook for her as well, however, it's more of a normal server with an RP tag on it more than anything else.
  • She fiddled around with an undead mage & gnome warlock for a handful of levels (maybe 6), but, that was all solo content.
  • She plays the Trading Card Game with me, and she enjoys it for the most part. Fingers crossed that the connections between the TCG & MMO will make good transactions (IE. Important NPCs & Item names that she'll remember and say "Oh! I know that item/person from the card game! Neat!")
So? What hurdles do I currently have to overcome now? Here they are:
  • The account, since I had it for a year prior to her playing, is FILLED with alts/banks. I need to clean up shop big time in order to make these alts playable or deletable for her, most are level 1s.
  • I need to clear out a bank alt on my personal account in order to have a level 1 character to group with her, so she can have the co-op experience with me.
  • We need to make time in her busy schedule during the weekend (She doesn't live with me), to bring her computer down and hook it up. This only seems doable during the weekends, in which she's been busy for the past 2 weeks or so.
  • Keeping her interested, she gets bored relatively easily, however with Suikoden games, she has recently been playing for 6-8 hours at a time. I think it's because I'm there playing it/watching it/enjoying it with her, and therefore it makes it more fun and less lonesome.
  • Convince her that dying is okay, and not to be frustrated, it's very easy for her to just get up and quit. I believe by playing co-op I can pick up the slack or make wiping 'fun' for her, and show her that it's no big deal and we can laugh about it or whatever.
So... that's basically what I've got right now. Every time I make any sort of progress in this, I will be posting here keeping you all updated. I hope that these chronicles will help give other people ideas to assist their own special someones to play WoW.
