The Retribution Gear Hunt
Well, currently I'm going into Retribution... or at least plan to by the end of the month. I've got some gear to collect, and it's going to be hard getting it without being Holy (especially in Heroics). I made use of WoW Forums Retribution Guide and Kaliban's Loot List both which were extremely helpful in deciding upon gear, and finding easy upgrades.
This is my current gear setup with items I can get easily from questing and what I already have in my inventory:
Weapon: Endbringer
Libram: Libram of Zeal
Helm: None (I'll probably spend spirit shards on Exorcist's Scaled Helm OR get X-52 Technician's Helm)
Chest: None (I'll probably get Leonine Breastplate)
Shoulders: None (I'll probably get Eagle Crested Pauldrons)
Hands: None (I'll probably and get The Hands of Fate)
Belt: Girdle of Gallantry
Legs: Ornate Leggings of the Venerated
Boots: Ornate Boots of the Sanctified
Wrist: Bracers of Just Rewards
Back: Royal Cloak of Arathi Kings
Neck: None (I'll be aiming for Insignia of the Mag'hari Hero)
Rings: Aggressor's Mark of the Sha'tar & Spellsword's Mark of the Redemption
Trinkets: Fettish of the Fallen & None (For now I'll get Core of Ar'Kelos)

You should try the Overlords Helm of Second Sight with 3 crit gems in it. May not have the spellpower, but at 70, before you get all your epics, the crit rating is more important than the high spellpower. Just remember to have a decent mana pool, that is what a lot of people forget when building a ret set

I think I'm going to fall back on the X-52 at the moment, if only because it's 'free'. I'm a bit iffy on spending my piles of Spirit Shards just yet. Also, who knows, I may end up with the recolored Lawbringer helm, which is why I think a quest reward is a safer choice for now.
The Overlords Helm of Second Sight is also a quest reward... very easy to get IMO.
It would be, but I banked on the druid helm as I told myself "I ain't no retn00b." and took the moose helm for practical joke purposes/solo ability since it had close to the same stats as my normal solo helm at the time. But, the X-52's should be just as easy to get I'd assume.
