I'm torn...

I can only assume it's the same price cost as the other one-handed main hand weaponry for the two maces, figure out the off-hand based on the other off-hands, if there are any.
However, my issue comes with... do I want this awesome healing mace with no MP5 on it that I can use for PvP, or do I want the awesome shield that I can use as my wannabe holytankadin self (instead of waiting for a shield to drop when we have a tank who doesn't need it)... or maybe I can just tank with the +healing shield from heroic medals... I'll have to check it out. Gear decisions make me cry.
Update: It appears that the mace off the Maiden of Virtue in Karazhan is getting a MAJOR buff to +378 healing, along with MP5, etc. So... it looks like I may be going the route of the Shield after all.

Personally, I'd go with the mace.
Nice portfolio, btw.
I'd go with the Gladiator's Gavel if it was my paladin, but he'll probably remain level 60 for a long time. I've put my Mage, Warlock, Druid (in that order) before him.
Someday though...
Hmm... it's definitely looking like the mace then... guess I'll have to gather up a few more arena points. Who knows, maybe I'll get the mace from Karazhan before I get the points, and then I can just get the shield.
(The Karazhan mace has a bit more stats and some MP5, and the PvP mace has some resilience and like 50 less +healing... I guess it all kind of depends.)
I would take the healing mace. There are lots of 1h swords that come close to the spell damage mace. I currently use the mana wrath in arena, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27899
There are better but not too shabby. There aren't a lot of healing maces better than that one floating around though.
